The Latina Foundation creates transformative programs for Latina women in Austin and beyond. Starting with Austin Latinas Unidas in 2020, we provide resources, networking, and support for personal and professional growth.

To empower Latinas by providing resources, education, and community support that foster leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal development.
Vision
To create a network of empowered Latinas who lead thriving communities, both economically and socially, through support, collaboration, and shared knowledge.
Timeline of Key Milestones

2020: Launch of Austin Latinas Unidas
Created a supportive space for Latinas. Hosted monthly workshops on various topics. Engaged over 500 women in Austin.

2021: Expansion of Programming
Launched the first Latina Day event. Increased engagement to over 700 Latina women through programming.

2022: Increased Community Engagement
Expanded Latina Day Weekend to a 3 day interactive conference & event. Established stronger volunteer network. Served over 1,200 Latina women across all programs.

2023: Officially Becoming a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit
City of Austin proclamation for Aug 20th as Austin Latina Day. Registered as a nonprofit. Created local ambassador program through Austin Latinas Unidas, hosting monthly meetups through out Central Texas (Waco to Kyle) Now serves over 1,900 women annually.

2024: Latina Start-up Ecosystem Growth
Expanded programming, including a SXSW experience. Jefas on the Move Accelerator Program and Demo Day. Launched 8 Latina-led businesses in the state of Texas through micro grants.
